Can you move a piano up (or down) a Victorian staircase?
Usually yes: narrow, curved SF staircases are our daily reality. We assess the turn radius and door widths in advance, and if a staircase truly cannot take it, we tell you before moving day, not during it.
Does the piano need to be tuned after the move?
Pianos hold tune through a careful move, but changes in temperature and humidity between homes usually call for a tuning a few weeks after you settle in.
Can a piano go with a regular household move?
Yes: most of our piano jobs are part of a full home move. It just needs to be in the inventory so the right board and crew come along.
